serious creaking problems with "QUICK-STEP Rigid Click" vinyl flooring
We have had serious creaking problems with the recently installed "QUICK-STEP Rigid Click" vinyl flooring (https://www.quick-step.co.uk/en-gb). We have used your product in one sector. First the improvement was immediate. Then, after a few days, the creaking came back, although an improvement was noticeable. Let's say 50%. We will now buy your product again for a second application. Let's hope it works. As I said, the floor is made of rigid vinyl (compatible with bathrooms and kitchens). It is a first market Belgian brand and its configuration is exactly what you ask for: click system with groove (installed on a "QUICK-STEP TRANSITSTOP" subfloor). We will notify the factory of the problem with this floor (which is not cheap) as we did not expect it. Maybe you could do something about it. Thank you in any case. I would appreciate a follow-up on this issue.

Bought sample bottle first and finding it worked bought the bigger one. Used it on newly laid oak engineered laminate floor.

Vinyl floor planks creaking after drying out from a water leakage. Stop Creak has no smell which is great. The silicone fluid is like water so runs easily between planks from a well designed applicator. Overall a great product that works.
Worked for a while
Worked for a couple of weeks but the creaks came back. I think my floor is badly laid and that's the problem, but the product seems to work.

Easy to use and has definitely very much improved our creaking laminate floors. They not perfect but we suspect that is because of movement in the subfloor boarding which obviously this cannot address.

We do not recommend you use Stop Creak on stairs. It is unlikely to make any difference to the creaking as it is not designed for this purpose.
Great product but not my solution
Arrived quickly, very clever package and clear instructions. Unfortunately, my suspicion that the noise is coming from the subfloor was confirmed.

I had a floor that started squeaking really badly. I suspect it was because the fitter brought the wood with him and it did not acclimatise, or because central heating pipes were underneath which dried it out too much. Anyway the squeaking was beyond a joke, and not ideal when trying to sneak past a child’s bedroom without waking them. I tried talc which just made a smelly mess, and also contacted wd40 to see if they had a specialist product (they didn’t). Then I came across this product. Started off with the test kit, and once I established it worked, went for the larger bottle. It works brilliantly and the floor no longer squeaks. If this hadn’t worked I probably would have needed to consider replacing the floor at several thousand pounds. Hopefully that’s it now and the squeaks won’t come back now. If you have a squeaky laminate floor I recommend giving this a go before ditching the floor. At the small cost of the test kit there’s not much to lose in giving it a go.

United KingdomEasy to apply and reduced creaking
I used the previous generation of Stop Creak in the spray can and this new version is better. It's faster to apply and makes less mess, it certainly reduced but hasn't cured my creaking. The applicator is much improved but when lifting away from the floor and tilting the bottle back upright, excess product runs out the nozzle which is wasteful. I also found it didn't have the coverage suggested on the bottle. Overall a good product which I will likely buy again as I didn't have enough in 2 bottles to complete the job.

We had some issues with our floors and we weren't sure if this would work on the floor we have (Click system hardwood). We called the company and spoke to Paul who was super helpful. Not only did he seem genuinely interested in helping us but he also followed up a few days later to see how we were getting on! Although we were told that Stop Creak might now work on our floor it has, and about 90% of the squeaks have gone which we are very pleased about.

After some idiot (me) washed my laminate floor with a steam cleaner, it was crackling badly. It was like walking on a floor made of crisps. I saw this being used on YouTube and thought I’d give it a go. It has worked !!! So happy! Would recommend doing a small area at a time so that you can wipe down excess before it dries.

The box arrived damaged and the contents had leaked. I called the company and they replace it immediately which was good. The product works well but the needle tip is easily damaged in transit. Recommend different packaging if they want to avoid the same problems happening again.
