Yes it worked. I had to try over 3 different days though to hit the right spots. Now to see how long it will remain like this. I think what would really help is a longer spout/needle to really get in behind tight and difficult spots with a wood seal skirting board in order to reach the floorboards underneath.
The product didn't help
I really didn't expect much from this as it seems a little too good to be true. Our floors have creaked pretty much since new, we have underfloor heating and our house is old so nothing is straight. We watched the videos and followed the instructions and as they claim on this site…it does stop the creaking immediately. Our floors are now silent and our house feels somewhat luxurious because of it. The constant creak, creak, creak every time we move hs gone which is a little weird at first. Whoever invented this stuff - thank you. Very, very good!
I don't usually write review but this stuff is really good. My house has creaked since new floors and underfloor heating were installed. The creaking was annoying at first but over the course of a year it became unbearable and we were really struggling to find a solution. Stop Creak appears to be some kind of water based lubricant. It is not oily, it's very thin….and well, I'm not sure how it works but our house is not completely silent. We can't stop grinning because we were seriously considering having new flooring installed, so if this sticks we have probably saved a load of money.
Although it says this product is designed for click system floors only, we used it on our hardwood oak floor and it reduced the creaking by around 80% which is pretty good. Our floor has grooves so we could get the product into the floor however in the areas where the floor was really tight (not fitted properly) we struggled a bit. All in all we are happy with the result.
