Worked wonders on our laminate locking floors.
My new flooring squeaked and creaked constantly we were going to take it up I bought stop creak which has really helped. Initially I just bought the small one as a tester. I then bought a full bottle which I used liberally and the creaking stopped, after a few weeks it started creaking only in a few places so have now bought the double pack. It does work really well and the creaking goes away completely but I think once it dries out it starts again, I’m more than happy to keep reapplying it every now and then
So, after I'd had my first go at applying Stop Creak I still had issues with my creaky floor and stated as such with feedback. I was then personally contacted by Stop Creak's founder with the aim of hopefully solving the issues and talking through a few pointers. Having discussed my floor and the product at length I felt confident enough to give it another whirl, which yielded much better results. All in all it's a great, innovative product that's going to cure a lot of woes and it comes with fantastic customer service to boot!
We have had creaky floors for so long that we forgot what it was like to live in silence. We were sceptical that this product would work because our floors were so bad plus I wasn't sure if the problem was in our subfloor. The instructions were clear and the website does stress that this product will only fix creaks caused by friction in the click floor itself. To our surprise, it appears that our subfloor is fine because with one application the creaking is gone. Great product and cheap if it gets the result we had.
Good. But how long does it last?
Hi Gary, it depends on your floor and the climate conditions in your house. For some it's 3 years (and counting) ad for other 6 months. No lubricant lasts forever however, Stop Creak's active lubricant does not dry out in theory it should last a long time.
